Lisa Hirschowitz

I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA), as well as the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts and Honours degrees from the University of the Witwatersrand, and completed my Master’s degree at Pearson Institute, with distinction.

What makes my practice unique, is that I currently consult exclusively online; This allows me to see clients from all over the world. I strive to carry out my duties in an ethical and compassionate manner and want my clients to feel safe and contained; no topic is considered taboo in therapy.

I currently work with adults (18+) and have the following special interests:

Chantelle Mawoyo

Chantelle  is passionate about creating a space that allows clients to grow into their true, authentic, joyful self. In therapy, she draws from a range of therapeutic methods based on the client’s needs and goals, ensuring a tailor-made therapeutic journey with every client.

Chantelle enjoys working collaboratively with her clients to assist them in obtaining their goals. She primarily works from a Psychodynamic-orientated approach however, she draws from a range of therapeutic modalities based on the clients needs and goals.

Chantelle has experience in working with individual adults, adolescents, and children around a variety of issues such as: learning/scholastic difficulties, anxiety, personal growth challenges, depression, self-harm, life adjustment difficulties, trauma, stress, bereavement, relationship/ interpersonal difficulties and play therapy for children (5+).

Brenny Maruma

Brenny is a dedicated psychologist with passion for promoting mental health. She is devoted to helping clients as they navigate their social, vocational, and personal challenges in order to lead more meaningful and fulfilling lives. Her scope of practice includes, but is not limited to work with anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, relationship and marital issues, trauma, adjustment to life challenges as well as career counselling and development.

Brenny is flexible in her working modality, but  favour a psychodynamic approach to psychotherapy, which involves exploring clients’ difficulties indepth, in a way that has the potential to create profound and sustained change. She uses both short term and long-term approaches depending on the need at the time.

Brenny works with adolescents (14+) as well as adults, individually or in group settings.

Kaela Sussman

I’m Kaela Sussman, a dedicated and compassionate Registered Counsellor with a deep understanding of human behavior and a unique perspective on addressing diverse mental health needs. My extensive experience has shaped my approach to creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard, understood, and accepted.

I focus on supporting individuals in a collaborative process where we work together to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. I believe in a holistic approach, recognizing that physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being are interconnected. This perspective allows me to address the whole person rather than just isolated symptoms.

For couples, my passion lies in fostering understanding, communication, and connection. I strive to create an empathetic and supportive environment where you can explore your feelings, address underlying issues, and build a solid foundation for long-lasting love and partnership.
